Go over to SIMPLIFY, www.camilleroskelly.typepad.com for a great giveaway!
I must be one of the worst bloggers ever! It is still all new to me and I have been away to visit my DD's and 3 beautiful grandchildren in FL. Will be going home tomorrow and then have our other 2 grands for a week at our home. Just love being with the grands and giving them lots of love and hugs.
Will try to put some pics up soon...............this is all new to me and I am just not too good at it yet.
Have been enjoying all the pics posted from Quilt Market. It would be so awesome to attend sometime.
Happy quilting to all.

I have been tagged!
I have been tagged by Vickie E to list 6 or 7 random things about me! Here goes..............
1. I got my first sewing machine, a Ward's Signature, in 1967. My mother is a very good seamstress, but instead of teaching me, she would just take my mistake and fix it. So I taught myself to sew and love it!
2. I bought my second sewing machine in 1975, a Bernina 830. That was like sewing on a Cadillac instead of a Volkswagen!
3. I have lived in IN, MI, CO, FL, IA, MN, OH and TN.
4. We have moved about 25 times in 42 1/2 yrs of marriage. I have lost count.
5. I have a sewing studio and storage space that I love. I am blessed!
6. I am a middle child, an older brother and a younger sister.
7. Quilting and my other hobbies are my therapy!
Off to eat a late supper.

Bad, bad blogger............
I am such a bad blogger............I just need to learn more about how to post pics, etc. Anyway, I was at a quilting retreat for 4 days this past weekend and it was just a great time. We did some shopping at Loose Threads in Harriman TN. It is a great shop and the owners are friendly and helpful. One of our ladies on the retreat even purchased a Janome Platinum and is very happy with her purchase. Then we also helped the economy at Little Blessings quilt shop in Crossville TN. If you are ever close to these shops, be sure to stop in.
Two of the ladies were more productive than me, but I completed a windmill quilt top, minus the borders. It took me awhile because of the mistakes I made and had to fix. Also made 120 1/2 sq. triangles for another quilt. Nothing better than spending time with quilt friends and being productive.
Please go on over to www.midohioknitter.blogspot.com and sign up for her Moda scrapbag giveaway! She is one of the designers for the Moda Bakeshop and a good friend of mine. When you enter her giveaway, tell her I sent you.
OK, back to the grind at work! Happy quilting to all.
